Jasper Municipality Newcomer Story Project

Mike worked with the Town of Jasper to create six digital stories with Newcomers to the community. These stories were then integrated into a curriculum for local residents and employers to help them better support newcomers and help them make Jasper their home. The project also included a filmed component with local business owners and municipal leaders watching and reflecting on the digital stories. A big highlight of the project was the Film Premiere of the Digital Stories which had over 120 attendees and was one of the best screenings Mike had ever had the pleasure of hosting.
